John Cooper put it better than I can.

Seriously, what the hell? The first thing I saw upon opening Dragons of Faerun to a random page was typos. I rant about it on Monte Cook's forum and get the above link. What do they pay the editors down there for? Sitting around playing fucking solitaire when they're supposed to be running spellcheckers? This is absolutely unacceptable. I pay very good money to Wizards and I expect a quality product in return. Instead, I get a clear slapdash job with the copyediting and game statistics fuckups that a five year old could spot. Somebody is clearly not doing his job, and if I were in management at WotC I'd want to know who and why. Hell, I'm not in management at WotC and I still want to know who and why. I'm wishing I'd had a better look at the book at GenCon so I could have asked about it at the Forgotten Realms seminar; might have gotten some attention that way.

Wrong forum. This belongs in bookshelves. . . . and I lack the power to move it.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

Work, work, work that's all it ever is, I should have listened to the Dread Pirate Roberts
"it takes two sides to end a war but only one to start one. And those who do not have swords may still die upon them." Tolken
