#1 Traveller RPG: Gateway to Destiny

Post by Stofsk »

I'm itching for some Traveller action. I'm testing the waters to see if anyone would be interested. System would be T20 to determine what abilities and skills you've got. In-game, however, will strive to be freeform.

Link: http://t20.org.uk/ for OGL rules. Skills and feats and such the like.

Right now I'm not sure what I want to allow and forbid, but if you want to play an alien then here's what's allowable: Aslan (think Kilrathi: warrior race of pseudo-feline mammals, gender distinctions), Vargr (uplifted wolves, most 'human' of the aliens), Sydites (subspecies of humaniti, they've got four arms), Luriani (amphibian humans), Droyne (flying reptiles with caste based fun).

Setting: Third Imperium, Gateway Domain. I can launch into a description of it if you like. Very similar to Babylon 5, Asimov's Foundation, and some of Wars and Trek. Age of Steam feel to it.

Campaign: I'm open to ideas. I have a scout campaign planned for a tabletop game, but if you want something else then let's throw some ideas around.

If you have any interest then express it!

I was thinking about a possible campaign, and I like the idea of a small group of freelancers travellin' in a ubiquitous Scout/Courier, in a cluster of systems that are basically the sector capital. There's room for intrigue, spying, politics, skullduggery and so on - actual missions would depend on the character's skills as well as their political connections. How does that sound?

sounds like it could potentially be fun... not sure if I would necessarily have time for it though
