What I got from the DM last night:

The Paranoia is a Wall around the Freak's place. The further you push in, the more it pushes back, until it reaches the edge of the wall... then you're through. Only the most determined (or demented, like Saibot) can go through without it hindering them. It will be worse on those who don't have demonic or angelic powers backing them, meaning Blast, Ghost, and Hotfoot.

Argent's got you all within the last 5-10 yards, but she's down for now. It's up to you guys to get the rest of the way ... through the nastiest of the nasty.

By the way, for reference, the physical sounds of Hotfoot's screaming would be like a shrill shriek.

The radio transmission of his horror will last about a minute, and then you'll hear the all clear.

Charon, Legacies wouldn't be near Gravitas... or shouldn't.

Gravitas was at the Northern End of the Freak's base. Blackheart's group was at the Southern End. Look at the map on the last page, you'll see what I mean.
