I have jury duty tomorrow.

I've never had jury duty before. I'm kinda doubting that they'll actually pick me, but wish me luck. Maybe I can strike a blow for examining evidence, or something.

Well, I'm done already. The entire panel was thrown out because too many people had a strong negative opinion of illegal immigration, apparently. Probably there were other smaller factors, but after the question about illegal immigration, the lawyers all went to the bench, they talked, and we were gone.

So yeah, that's it.

*chuckles* What the hell did they expect? Did they not see the uproar that resulted in the amnesty bill getting shot all to hell? Did they not know how many people in this country are opposed to illegal immigrants and anything to do with them?

I'm pretty sure that was EXACTLY what the defense expected, and we were all their pawns to get us thrown out and get a delay and a new panel chosen.

We were all laughing when they told us we were done.
