Yeah, sorry I wasn't available for the initial meet and greet. *laughs*
"So yes, hi, I'm Slipstream. Sorry I couldn't be there in person to meet you and all, but I'm currently indisposed at the moment. Where am I? Well you see, there was a city-state where I am now, a while back. It's kinda collapsed in ruin currently. No, no, I'm not searching it for supplies, I'm buried under it. Yes, I'm sure the Autobots know I'm here and are just formulating a plan to rescue me as soon as they get a chance. Really, I believe that, you know. They never leave someone behind. Not like this. Any year now I'll be rescued. Of course, mind you, I've been saying that for a few million years now, but I'm sure it'll be soon."

Stealth is cool. Invisibility is twinky.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

If he keeps it, his speed while he does it gets knocked down to 20 mph I say. Maybe less than that. Like Cat said, stealth is cool, invisibility it twinky.

After some careful thought, I've edited my last post to remove any mention of any twinky invisibility field. I'll work out the details of him being stealthy in wolf form with DS later, when he's available. I've also deleted my earlier post in this thread describing how the invisibility thing works, as that's going to become irrelevant here shortly.
Again, I apologize to everyone about the stutter in the flow of gameplay.

Alright, DS and I have worked it out, and quantified things for Blindside's stealth nicely.
In his wolf form, moving at most 1/4 his maximum speed (20mph), he has passive EM mufflers to render nearly all signatures he might emit undetectable - this coupled with his skill at moving silently and hiding counts as his stealth.
EDIT: clarity, and removed redundancies in description

Breakout must be scarier then I thought.

When I rate the players on the powerscale from top to bottom I always put Breakout near the top, not for power or necessarily ability, but out of his sheer insane determination.frigidmagi wrote:Breakout must be scarier then I thought.

Frigidmagi, the way you were having Breakout talk, it reminded me of the drill sergeant from Full Metal Jacket.
As for Blindside's response, it was less that than "Wait, what? Who are you?"

P.P.S. Bah, Philistines.
I was avoiding using the quote function since it helped me practice my flow of writing, and to me (key words, apparently points of view differ) it was easier to get into the rhythm and flow of reading this game as a story.
However, LadyTev stated that it was confusing, so I'll use the quote function after all for ease of reading.
Hmph.

I did sorta want to have a talk with Hornet... It would be nice Havoc if you would wait for me to reply before running off to the range.

I won't deny, I did find a great deal of amusement in not telling him for so long...IRWriter86: And this plan was nowhere NEAR as bad as the thought I had, so you don't get to hear my idea.
Gen Havoc: NO!
Gen Havoc: THIS IS NOT FAIR!
Gen Havoc: Tell me the plan!
IRWriter86: Nope.
Gen Havoc: I demand it!
IRWriter86: Demand all you want bucko, I'm not telling you. And I'm not telling anyone else so you can't bribe them to tell you.
Gen Havoc: False pretenses! Lies and Misdemeanors!
Gen Havoc: Tell me the damn plan!
IRWriter86: Bwahahaha!
Gen Havoc: Tell me the plan or I will junk this one and come up with the worst POSSIBLE plan I can think of
Gen Havoc: I will have Hornet smuggle live nuclear weapons into major cities thinking that they are musical devices
IRWriter86: LOL
IRWriter86: I don't think the GM is gonna give you nuclear weapons.
Gen Havoc: I will have him convince Wheeljack to replace Shellshock's munitions with blanks!
IRWriter86: I don't fire shells anymore.
Gen Havoc: I will have him steal the Matrix from Optimus
IRWriter86: Good luck with that.
Gen Havoc: Tell me your plan
IRWriter86: I don't think Optimus leaves the Matrix lying around while he's watching the TV, and Hornet doesn't have the strength to pry Prime's chest open to steal it.
Gen Havoc: You are aware perhaps that the first time he ever saw the matrix by itself he did not know what it was and wound up using it as a pillow?
Gen Havoc: I will find a way
Gen Havoc: I will have him accidentally plug your gun barrels with glue!
IRWriter86: I don't think glue is gonna stop the blasts that come out of my barrels.
Gen Havoc: I'll have him short circuit you somehow
Gen Havoc: Or start humming some human tune he heard once until your processor crashes
IRWriter86: And I'll just make sure he falls on you and crushes you.
IRWriter86: :-D
Gen Havoc: I WILL THINK OF EVIL DEVIOUS THINGS TO DO TO SHELLSHOCK!
Gen Havoc: *Grumbles*
Gen Havoc: This is intollerable cruelty
IRWriter86: It's glorious...
Gen Havoc: I hate you SO much....
Gen Havoc: Why will you not tell me?
IRWriter86: I think there's a fanclub for that.
Gen Havoc: Did you think Hornet would freeze in mid-combat, or refuse orders, or desert?
IRWriter86: Because you'd consider having Hornet do it. And it's far worse than anything you've still mentioned. Except for the live nukes... And maybe the matrix stealing, but those are ridiculous.
Gen Havoc: What if...
Gen Havoc: I sollemnly promise not to have Hornet do whatever it is
IRWriter86: Alright fine...

Whoo...I'm glad Dark Silver and I ended up talking about this before I posted any scene about this.
He was kind enough to point out that Sunstreaker, Firetrack's intended original racing buddy back on Cybertron, had left on the Ark with Prime long before Firetrack was ever activated.
So, I edited Blindside's backstory to replace all mention of Sunstreaker with Hot Rod, which actually fits better anyway.

See, now the reason we haven't seen more female Autobots on Earth becomes clear - Rodimus just has them with him.
We should change his name officially to "A Pimp Named Rodimus," and give him a fedora and a good pimp laugh.

Foxhound and Runway are both NPC creations, they are not canon.
And besides, they asked to see Rodimus' pistol....he was honor bound to show them.
Why do you think they were in the armory?

The remote armory, away from everyone else, where only a Cybertronian warmachine would bother tracking them down.
Cause it's that nice of a pistol you see.
