Middleweights and larger dragons do tend to carry medics aboard. For a middleweight this will be a dual-purpose dragon/human medic. Large heavyweights can sometimes get away with having one person for the dragon, and another for the crew. I agree that lightweight captains tend to shift for themselves a bit more often than usual, but stitching is not covered in basic first aid or even advanced first aid.

Probably a good plan. I'll post to that effect if nobody else has anything to say.

I've sorta lost the thread of battle given RL events. It'd be easier for me if we just went. Anyway, I doubt you're supposed to just hop off the dragon you captured and assume it'll sit there docilely.

For a purely selfish reason (i.e. me getting to join the group), I'd vote for a quick fast-forward to everyone getting back to base.

I spent all day today trying to find somewhere to live.
I failed.
Tomorrow, I will spend all day failing again, as I will every weekend day from now until May, when I finally snap and shoot one of the people who so DESPERATELY deserve to be shot.
Consequently, I apologize for the inconvenience, but when I next have a second to myself to spare, I shall post in HMD. That may be tomorrow, the day after, or November of the year 5,371 for all I know. I will endeavor as always, but I cannot post before I am able to post. Period.
I'm sorry, as always for these delays, but I absolutely cannot post this evening, not by any means existent upon this planet. Perhaps I can tomorrow. Perhaps not. We shall see.

Fuck. So much lost.
Can we skip to NEXT DAY, and try to go from there, since I can't remember all the things I had Judith and Jeb say to various people?

Just so I have this right Cat. You pretty much went from charging at me full steam to essentially stopping and turning on a dime to be able to drop fast enough to catch up to something that already is dropping like a rock and I was then kind enough to not notice you dropping towards me and was also kind enough to just continue a straight fall so you could take potshots at my wings which would be parallel to you and thin, so you should barely be able to see them let alone reliably shoot them?
I wouldn't have as much of a problem with you saying you hit if the hits didn't seem so ridiculous to be able to achieve or if you tried to contact me over AIM and try to work out with me what hits would happen. But you just declaring that "Oh, and these are the hits you took and where you took them" is bullshit.

You charged automatic weapons fire, into close range. I hit you, winged over, and you continued to drop. I never said I caught you or that you didn't put distance on me, I just said Frostfell was faster and more maneuverable than other heavies, which was true, and that you didn't put as much distance on me as you would have done on other heavies.
You did a close pass against a cluster of automatic weapons manned by a good gunner. I called several hits, my character judged it would have been enough in real life (notice this is the character's opinion, not game fact) and went to another target.
So we'll some up: Close range automatic weapons fire hits. Frostfell is faster and more maneuverable than other heavies. More fire. Reynolds judges it would have been enough and goes to another target.

Alright, I overreacted some and for that I apologize. But I still don't like the fact that in the second part you declared hits to my wings. When I was heading straight at you, yeah, you pretty much had free shots up the wazoo. I'm not gonna argue the point anymore and I'm not requesting a change of your post at all. Just wanted to clear that up.

I was shooting for the wings with a cluster of paint guns. Where else was I going to hit?

I would rather in the future that players did not auto hits on other players or on NPCs, regardless of how "obvious" it appears that the hits should occur, without first working it out behind the scenes with said player or with me. I assumed that such a thing happened here.
If someone is unreasonable about when they sustain damage, I will void or alter that element of their post, but autoing things just leads to argument all around.

I would just like to make the petition that unless Fisher and DS are gonna duke it out some that they have to wait awhile before they can post that they've caught up with the formation again. Because a lot of time has passed in our section of the battle that I don't think has really happened with the rest of the group.

I was already intending to "wait" to show up in the battle, not come up in the middle of it. This little aerial fragfest ended up taking at least ten minutes, by my reckoning....dragons can wing far in ten minutes...

Yeah I don't think all this took that long, but from leaving your formation to finding it again and rejoining it might take take about ten minutes including the fight.

Not in the North Sea, no... but I'm sure Jake can/will find a nice quiet stream to take Judith out on a picnic.
