Agrilos' earlier years. Right there.

Props to you, Tev - I wasn't able to watch this until the brief time I was hope from work and before I left for school.

Alright, since people aren't moving this along I'm gonna move the story along for you. I am not pleased by this turn of events. I'm gonna give you guys 24 hours to finish whatever you're doing and then I'm going to move the story along.

No, I do appreciate that some of you have tried. But the simple fact is that it's not going anywhere right now so I'm going to move the story along and maybe after that we'll see more people active again.

Just for the characters familiar with nordic monsters.

From what you all know of Frost giants, they should be topping these trees easily, assuming they were short ones. Whatever is attacking this town, they aren't frost giants.

Are we ready to wage battle and possibly die? I sure hope so because I don't think Charon has had a chance to kill some PCs in a while. Let's all go make him proud (and watch our backs, no seriously he's really in a PC killing mood--hah, I kid. Mostly...).

First off, sorry it's taken me so long to get back in. I plan on posting tomorrow.

Secondly CT CAN FUCKING FLY?!?!! What the FUCK?! I'm sorry But I'm calling Shenanigans. If I were to say, "Krystyna Shot from the inn and past the other mercenaries straight into the fray. Her Speed allowed her to kill several of the attackers an run back without been noticed." I would get torn a new one, even though it's mostly in the perimeters of my powers. I'm sorry, can we get a list of what he CAN'T do?

Flight is a pretty spiffy little ability, but considering that Manfred appears to have the "Air" sphere its not totally out of the question that he can fly. At least, that is why I thought he could fly.

For point of fact CT cannot fly yet. What CT is doing is not falling, and yes there is a difference. Flying would imply that he can move from the spot he's in now without considerable effort (really he's just made himself into a nice shiny target). I will admit however that he should have made that point clear in his actual post. So shame on you Ben, please edit to clarify this.

Furthermore, the ability to fly is nowhere near as bad as autoing and you would be torn to shreds, as anyone here would. As for what can't CT do? Start a fire for one. But seeing as one of spheres of magic he has is air, flying will definately be in the repetoire.

eh... CTs post came off as flight and incredibly easy at that, but thats the limitation of words. as for autoing and fearing being torn to shred also somewhat justifiable considering most of us while GMing proclaiming how evil we are as well as how we tell each other how evil they are. I know I've held back on some posts and been overly cautions for fear of GM rectal invasion in several games.

He and I had discussed it on AIM, he neglected to put the limitations in his post and since I knew what he was doing I neglected to make him specify. An understandable... misunderstanding.

This reply will be for everyone here, I'm giving you free delicious information here now.

If you are ever, at all, concerned that something you want to do is too much send me a PM or an IM. I'll discuss it with you willingly 99% of the time. If I am not online, send me a PM (probably safest since I'm not always using the computer that my AIM is on) or an IM anyway asking if it's ok to do something. That way when I do get online and I don't think what you've done is acceptable, I'll know you at least tried to contact me about it, and as such I will be far more willing to simply ask you to edit instead of outright raping you.

rhoenix: By which gate did Agrilos leave the town (by which I mean did he leave in a fashion that would allow John to see, and thus react to, his leaving)?

He left via the front gate, as that's the one closest to where the attack is coming from, to the best of my understanding.

And yes - the rest of the group likely would have seen Agrilos take off at a fast jog toward the attackers once the wind started pushing the fog bank toward the cannons.

I'm sorry but I gotta speak out on this.

Rhoenix, are you aware your fancy stunt made it impossible for the city to shoot back?

Let me explain, the attackers know where the city is. The city isn't gonna move nor is it blessed with the ability to dodge. The fog does not hamper them at all.

Meanwhile the city defenders? CAN'T FUCKING SEE WHERE THE ENEMY CANNONS ARE! They won't know where the cannon balls are going to hit until well THEY HIT!

Before you mention it, yes they cannot see individuals on the wall now? So fucking what? Cannons are not aimed at men on the wall my good man, they're aimed at the damn walls. You just made it easier for the enemy to blow up the walls without risking return fire.

God help you all if they have a 2nd battery of cannons or even a 3rd. I would have split my cannons into 2 groups to avoid snazy heroes like you taking them out!

In short Charon must be giggling insanely if he's awake.

Heh, and lets not get into the fact that he just marched off into the wilderness alone to take out those cannons, without knowing what is there.... I will give you a hint, to move cannons around that quickly, whatever it is has to be kinda big and nasty

Has anyone explored the possibility that there are just multiple cannons spread out, and the one next to eachother arent firing at the same time? That could put out the illusion that they are moving around really fast.
