#1 Spyware

Post by The Village Idiot »

The long and short of it is that my roommate started to download what he thought were drivers he needed for his computer. What he instead managed to do was download a shit ton of spyware and now I cant get it off. Is there any spyware killer out there that is actually free? I have found that they are all more then happy to scan your rig and tell you how fucked you are but wont help unless you pay up. So once again I come to the almighty board and ask for help.
"Sir, are you classified as human?"
"Negative, I am a meat popsicle."

Spybot Search and Destroy and Lavasoft's Ad-aware are both free last I checked and together seem to do a fairly good job.
