For the next month and a half I lived frugally but well. I had no expensive indulgences and my purse grew. Women and girls caught my gaze often and more than once I considered buying a whore. I was seventeen Stravin and a virgin was money in my pocket and free from the rule of the monastery. Of course I was thinking of women. I wasn't and I am not a eunuch.
Given that Pelor is not a Forgotten Realm god, I'm gonna guess no. Pelor is most active on the Greyhawk world, but it's completely possible Cat put this in a original world so he wouldn't have to deal with all the damn baggage.

Pelor's also one of the generic setting 3.0/3.5 gods.

Heh. These humans have no idea the level that Nalifan plays politics on. I am sure Liana will be wise enough to listen and learn well from her new lover.

TF: Ahhh Yeah that's the stuff! Glad to see you found a good use for the greasy bastard (smart greasy bastard!) that is Swindle.
I: The Gloom? And damn that Haunt has some mojo, that's alot of undead. Mostly wimpy ones, but quantity has it's own quality. And I can't believe he was dumb enough to go into an undead zone alone. Bad Adventurer, No Biscuit!

The Gloom is associated with Morghul, who I've hinted at being a major evil badass.
He's a rookie so he's making a rookie's mistakes.

If Kaeryn could have overheard his little "I'm not 70 anymore" commentary, she'd be laughing herself silly. Poor Nal, his ... Pragmatism ... getting to him, since he has no morals to guide him?
Of course, the fact that he's plotting to use all three of them to further his goals and do what he can't proves he's not gone that soft.

You forgot "preferences", which is Nal speak for morals. Morals are things possessed by weaklings who do what needs to be done and who are enslaved and destroyed by the strong. He was raised by drow. That doesn't fade overnight.

That Drowness won't fade even when he dies. But I have to ask -- how long has it been for him? You'd think his wife would be enough.

Wifey was away on trip when he got snatched. That's also why she didn''t know instantly. As for enough, well that's less than too much. Take a guess on what "too much" is for a pair of young, beautiful adults with magically augmented endurance, easy access to healing, and a cultural background which encourages wild, decadent orgies and debauched seductions.

Yeah. I see your point. I hope he's not too disappointed by his concubine, considering his wife's prowess. Then again, sometimes you just want vanilla icecream.

Funny, I seem to recall a weakling possessing morals slamming him up on a wall by the throat not so long ago in his life. Of course, that score was evened pretty quick.

And yet again we see the Drow's biggest weakness, their upbringing. The Lady is most certainly right to be angry but she's letting certain assumptions cloud her thinking.
For one thing, why would elves summon and bind a Drow? They're as arrogant as the bloody damned Matron Mothers Themselves, and won't admit ever to needing the help of a damn exile.
And if the person using the spell wanted to harm or kill Nal, why use a summoning and binding? It's begging something to go wrong with the plan. Better if you decide Nal must die to kill him in one strike before he knows what is going on... After you've annihilated all the clones he has stashed around.
