I'm just gonna be sitting here, not throwing off lightning bolts, and letting the rest of you rumble and tumble

So, Cyncat, I have a question. Since I assume that Frostfell is not insane enough to kill the Cauchador's captain, how is he grabbing the Cauchador exactly? Same question applies to the rest of the crew, but Frostfell may care less about them for all I know.

The captain that hasn't said a single word or exercised the tiniest modicum of control of his dragon? That captain? No, Frostfell isn't interested in harming him.

I thought I was fairly clear about the grab. Tail wraps around, legs grab legs, mouth grabs neck. Note grabbing and pressure, not rending. Frostfell is immobilizing and subduing.

Yes, that Captain. The one whose death would trigger a blood rage in the 42-ton dragon you are attempting to subdue. You understand why I wish to be clear on these matters?

Yes, at 45 tons the dragons works as posted. You may arrive whenever you like in Gibraltar. Watch for low-flying Heavyweights.

I don't think that throwing another heavyweight into this disaster is going to help things.

Technically, I could have done something....

but I think Frostfell would take unkindly to being electrocuted along with the other one...

I think your response in-character makes a better point, really. The amount of voltage necessary to shock the Cauchador into submission would probably fry his captain.

Seriously.

For context DS, though Franklin can ask Thundercracker to help him charge, the process is not exciting.

It would take both dragons, unharnessed, in the air. Thundercracker would have to hover in place for about an hour building enough of a charge - which would be the maximum he could. If he fired it at Franklin then, Franklin would still only have about half the energy available from a true lightning bolt.

In short, all Thundercracker might do is annoy the two heavies with static cling. ;)

Let's see...

Everyone in the unit has gone bugfuck crazy or disappeared. Check.
Huge clusterfuck that can intense and long term bad effects Check.
Higher seems to think I can magically solve this shit. Check.

Huh, the dragonforce is more like the Marines then I thought.

Probably could rheonix, but again, the issue comes in frying the crew/captains on the Real, since I'm pretty sure Frostfell has no crew on him.

Ok, I'll ask you a question in return. Two heavyweight dragons are currently in a brawl. All other dragons and people are just sitting around, watching and murmuring various things to themselves. If Captain Rankin is taking the step to deploy special weapons dragons, plural, to break it up, why the hell is everyone else just watching and drinking beer while the compound is getting wrecked?

Havoc is giving the PC's a chance to resolve this issue before it gets resolved by NPC's. My action may end up being a horrible mistake, but I'd far rather try to accomplish something and die, rather than sit around not accomplishing something when the situation calls for it.

The fastest way to resolve this issue is to separate Captain from Spanish Heavyweight, and demand that the Spanish Heavy calm the fuck down before something terrible happens to his Captain. So, that's exactly what he aims to do.

My biggest issue is that such a maneuver is far more possible with a lightweight. Assuming the guy isn't strapped in too tight.

I hate to say it... that's probably the best bet, as it will keep Frostfell from killing him by accident.

I don't think I can do anything... I have Nathan and Judith on Jebediah, which would slow him down.

Franklin's still slower than Kunja - Kunja could do so more easily, yes. I just didn't see anyone trying to do so yet.

Exactly. I know everybody thought what I did was suicidal, but just sitting back while an insane heavyweight attacks our new squadmates? That's just not going to happen.

I thought that involved explosives.
