In Adobe Photoshop, you can pick a particular color of a bitmap using the Eyedropper Tool.
Well, I was using Adobe Illustrator (vector graphic instead of bitmap), and it also has an Eyedropper Tool. I then imported a bitmap picture into Illustrator using the 'Place' command, and used the Eyedropper Tool to take its color (to be used for my vector graphic).
But then... fuck! The Eyedropper Tool in Illustrator just refused to recognize the color of the 'placed' (inserted) bitmap. In fact, according to Illustrator, the inserted bitmap has no color at all (the white square with diagonal red line).
The question is why? And how can I take color from bitmap pics to be used in Illustrator, then? :thewall:

So be it. If saying "NO" means being alone, then to hell with love, with romance, with marriage, and all the shit life keeps pumping at me. I'll walk alone, but with freedom and a healed pride.
