Now why would an Astartes Chapter want *rid* of their Librarians?

There's alot of anti-Psionic feeling in the Imperialium and with good reason. Psykers are the ones who tend to end up summoning deamons or more commonly setting people on fire or driving them insane or half a hundred other things. Add in that Psykers are the ones most at risk for deamon possession and your average Marine is an 8ft tall, superhuman killing machine... Outside of his uberarmor. Now imagine a possessed Space Marine with Psyker powers.

So odds are good a Astartes would have been rised in an anti-Psyker environment before being recruited and it is possible that Astartes within the chapter have had experiences with fallen libertarians.

Librarians also tend to be kept apart from other Astartes, their job is to record and maintain the knowledge of the chapter as well as being Psyker shock troops.

So these are guys who are separate from their marine brothers, have strange unexplainable powers and if they are weak will snap kill a bunch of Astartes and become host for a monster from the warp. Yeah I can see a little debate over keeping them.

It doesn't help that the Librarians are the result of a compromise where Psionics were allowed and sorcery outlawed. A compromised suggested by Magnus, the Primarch of the fallen Thousand Sons Marine Legion...

Not setting the Librarians apart is going to be a big change. ALso, I hope Ludvia goes with them.

One does not simply walk into Mordor and before you can even think about going there you have to know it exists. The "office building" is just as much a mage Chantry as a Iteration X tech lab or Celestial Chorus monastery. No pair of Garou assassins would have made it his office, and if they had and had stopped to talk they would have ended up being vivesected by the Progenitors.

Werewolves don't know about the Technocracy, let alone its most secretive member. Glasswalkers are slightly better off than other shapeshifters when it comes to the Syndicate, because they have the conceptual tools that will allow them to believe in mages focused on money exist.

Speaking of subtle if your chapter master doesn't hit the orks soon they're gonna think he's shy or something. I don't think I wanna see orks trying to "help" a shy space marine.
