The basic premise is that the in tact set of Nether Scrolls was stolen (or rather, the tree they have been transmuted to in WIndsong Tower has been ripped from it's root base) by the city of shade as a precursor to their attempt at creating a new Netherese Empire.

The power those scrolls contain is immense. Any mage who reads them will have his power increased considerably. In addition, the last ten scrolls hold the key to the knowledge of artifact creation.

The only way to counter this, is to recover and reassemble the other set. The problem is they have been scattered throughout Faerun, and the location of 24 of the 50 scrolls is completely unknown.

It would be the party's job to find them. Starting out at level 25 (with an NPC because I cant resist... I really cant) you guys would dive through ancient ruins of netheril, cormanthor, and the High Forest, as well as fight off shadowvar and Sharan agents bent on the successof the city of shade.

If I dont get any takers, I will just have to write it out as a fic because it is in my head and it wont go away

I'd be interested. Possibly use a middle-aged human loremaster or elven high mage.

Tortoise? We need to talk about this... Nitram ran a character of mine through a game where we got a set of the scrolls, and my character and his NPC hid them well.

 Talk to me tonight about it and my character.

you dont get a third attack per round. Just to let you know. Your BAB does not increase in epic levels, rather you get a bonus to attack which does not factor into your attack number

Here is my monk, and I hereby vow to be a cryptic pain in the ass.
http://www.sylnae.net/3eprofiler/view.php?id=23654

Edit: if anyone wonders how i got anything its from the feat "bribe the GM with food" though personally i think i fed him too much

you know I should probably describe him too...

Ok bald monk, dark green shirt, and ugly green button up coat with 4 pockets buttoned closed on the outside. Black pants that tie off at the ankle tucked into dark brown and black boots, and tight thin leather gloves on his hands.

Very tips of tattoos can be seen just above the collar of his shirt other than that there are no visible marks distinguishing him as a tattooed monk.

Indeed. I just had no way to incorporate him in otherwise. Tev and Nitram had characters that fit in so well given their backgrounds...

As did SB

Rogue, once his paladin/fighter/whatever is posted can conveniently be met along the damn road...

I thought tradition demanded with the two of us that any paladin in the campaign had to be trying to arrest one of us.
