Torma followed Gaheris, since he knew where the kitchen was... and had to snigger at the 'item' he was fetching. "I'm not -that- hungry, Gar... although the irony is amusing."

"First thing's first. We don't want him to rot. I'll go see who's on duty in the repository; there might be some scrolls there with the proper spells for preservation, and we can wake a cleric in the morning."

Gaheris turned to Dulchas, who had been watching the whole affair in silence. [I assume he didn't just disappear.]

"I don't suppose you happen to have gentle repose ready, do you? He's fairly well embalmed from Astinius' spell already, but I don't want to take chances. If not, we'll just have to disturb the monk at the repository."

Astinius, who was following Gaheris as well, i only because he was hungry and figured a few of his more common spell components, stuff like rose petals, could make the meal a bit tastier, noticed the look of amusement on the dragon's face when she mentioned the word Juicy. He knew exactly what what meant

"No" Was all he said, his sash was at this point off, and his grin betrayed the fact that the pranks would be very funny if perpetrated on a third party. But horrific if they were done to him.

The tail was twitching as Torma turned her head just enough to see Astinius out of the corner of her eye. The expressive face had a sly smile upon it, yet she said absolutely nothing at all to Astinius ... which was by far the Most Worrying.

"I blame the lack of proper breeding..." Torma shot back at the Shadovar. "and I am Really. Really Hungry..." She eyes a nearby pew, solidly built of sturdy oak, actual iron nails used to hold the sides, back, and seat together. Like most of this temple, it was built not for comfort, but for utility. Still, it had been polished carefully over the years with beewax, leaving the wood a deep golden glow.

"Dammit..." Torma muttered, as her stomach made a rumbling noise, and she turned her neck and bit down on the back of the pew, biting a semi-circle out of the wood and starting to chew it noisily.

(Think someone eating ice...)

"Tormantineth!" Malkamar spoke firmly and loudly. "You stop eating that pew right this instant! Drop it! We are going to get you a proper meal!" Just what this needed, an annoyed diety because the dragon ate a pew.

Her eyes crossed, staring down at her nose in disbelief, then swallowing noisily. "Malk... it's just a pew. I don't think they'll miss it."

Of course, Astinius and Gaheris had yet to say a word... but the shock and dismay Malk was showing was worth a bop on the noise. "Besides.. this way you don't have to find me a whole cow." CHOMP chewchewchew

The back of the solid oak pew was looking like a watermelon slice, with neat semicircles taken out of it.

The Shadovar was confronted with a dragon larger than he was, yet had to try and be the adult. "There won't be any pranks for a month!"

Swallow, down the gullet it goes. She really was hungry "Oh, don't worry, Malk... I'll make up for the missing pranks..." Torma childed him. It was amusing to see him bluster like that. "I really think the gods have more to worry about than a pew, tho..."
