Next Fiend is going at 13, so everyone faster (except Rogue who has already gone, of course) go.

The order has gotten a little messed up, but since no one has really declared anything much beyond angst, it doesn't really matter. Next person go.

You're throwing frikkin Pit Fiends at us, hon... we're going to be a little slow to get into combat.

At best, all Torma could do is play hide-and-seek with them like she'd do against a RedDragon, spiderclimbing around the Abbey like she'd do on cliff-faces to confuse and ambush. Her best hope is that the damn things miss their saves for a Slow Gas breath attack... however since mere thugs can get out of it, I have little hope of that working. Acid might work better, but they have Resistances or Immunity to all elemental attacks. :(

Best bet, Torma distracts, someone finds whomever's using the fiends as their distraction.

Also, I would let you guys know that with a Gate spell,not that your characters would know this, the caster does not even need to be in the city when the service is performed.

Ya know... One again, I wish we had miniatures.

I was *trying* to line it up so the only one in the path of the line would be the demon, and his bulk would be the endpoint, as well as block the majority of the splatter.

Once I get to a point where I'm reasonably certain I have most of the wounded (or their bodies, as the case may be) within 50 feet of me, I'm going to cast stabilize from my scroll. If I take time to check everyone and use lay on hands, it will be too late.

Ya know... an Evil DM would have Torma going in the wrong direction.

An Evil, Devious DM would have her walking straight into the middle of the The Plot, especially if the party got off-track at some point.
